The second page is the switching entrance of local video and "VGA, AV, HDMI" input sources. After the computer host, notebook and other devices are connected, the machine can be used as an ordinary projector.
The machine has a built-in Chipper application market, which is also a "system level" projector management application, providing various functions such as audio, video, games, application management, etc.
The system has a high degree of completion, and the interface and setting items are unified. There is no problem that the projection and system settings of similar products are often separated.
Because it is not a TV box, you can directly use various film and television applications. Youku, iQIYI and PPTV can all be used directly, and the use habits and interface can be directly compatible with TV applications.
Online high-definition video, subway parkour, whitewater speedboat and other games can run smoothly, but these games do not support remote control, and need keyboard or handle operation.
Projection effect
High definition and color are the important selling points of X5. Its scheme is the combination of Luminus' luminous technology and Taiwan's MSD9 series video and intelligent processing chip scheme. It claims that it can provide more than 128% NTSC color gamut (the conventional color gamut range is 90%).
Because no projection products with similar parameters can be found (mainly because they are poor), the iPad 4 with 99% NTSC color gamut and the Samsung S4 with 132% color gamut are used as references for skip level comparison.
The first surprise is the brightness of the machine. The above picture shows the meeting room at noon. The light outside the door is strong, but the brightness of the projection is actually higher than the ambient light in the meeting room. The following figure shows the evening when the indoor light is turned on. With this brightness, it can be used normally even if the curtain is not pulled at home.
Solid color test
On white purity, iPad is warm and red, S4 is blue and green, and X5 is closer to pure white.
The red performance of the X5 is closer to that of the iPad, but the most brilliant one is Samsung's abnormal level AMLED screen.
In terms of yellow performance, the iPad is as accurate as ever, the X5 is close behind, and the Samsung S4 is slightly green.
Samsung S4 still has the highest green saturation, while the gap between iPad and X5 is not obvious.
Samsung S4 and X5 have high blue saturation, which is close to the direction of purple, while iPad has low blue saturation, which is a bit "blue insufficient".
Picture and movie display performance
Under the highlighted value, the red performance of the machine is even high to a little overflow.
Note the blank part in the upper left corner. The X5 and Samsung S4 with high blue saturation tend to be blue, while the iPad displays normally.
Also pay attention to the upper left corner, the X5 and Samsung S4 are more bright green, and the iPad looks a bit light.
Thanks to the projector's "dark" imaging principle, its high light difference scenes have a higher tolerance, and can display more details in dark places and highlights, which is also an important reason why the movie theater viewing effect still leaves the LCD screen.
The performance of red and blue is still like that of solid color. The X5 and Samsung S4 have better color performance with higher color gamut.
Large gray scenes are most suitable for comparing the white balance. The white balance of the Pad in the proof is more accurate, while the screens of Samsung and X5 are oversaturated with blue-green.
The display comparison basically verified the difference of the color gamut size data. Although it is lower than Samsung's abnormal level of AMLED screen, the X5's color gamut and color saturation can still beat the iPad. However, the richness and lightness of colors are related to personal preferences, and high saturation may not be suitable for everyone's taste.
Stability and others
In addition to color performance and clarity, the most impressive thing about the machine should be its heat dissipation efficiency.
Through the thermal imager detection, the highest temperature of the fuselage appeared in the front heat dissipation grid, 41.3 degrees, after 5 hours of continuous power on during the test. The highest temperature at the top appears near the front, only 38.4 degrees, which is quite cool.
The cooling system almost takes away all the heat generated by the light machine part, and the lowest temperature part of the machine is the light machine part that produces the most heat. This can prevent the optical structure from losing focus due to heat accumulation, but at the cost that the cooling fan is almost always working hard, Virgo may not be able to stand the constant wind.
In terms of sound effect, the machine is equipped with dual 2W speakers. Although there is no high expectation for sound quality, the volume is surprisingly high. During the test, it can meet daily use when it is adjusted to 30%.

The X5 performs well in brightness, color gamut and thermal stability in the evaluation, which is enough to cut down a lot of so-called intelligent micro projects. In terms of the system, like all competitors, it is hard to distinguish between Android systems. However, the system supports direct use as an ordinary projector, which is worth praising.
The most sensitive price issue mentioned at the end is still sad. The price of the X5 is 3288 yuan, and its ordinary optical version is 2688 yuan (the memory is also reduced to 4G). This price is different from the previous Horizontal review of projector Tested Nuts (1999) and Jimi (2599) are still a little higher.
In addition, although the experience of watching movies with the projector is enough to kill all LCD screens, the resolution of the entry-level projection is only the same as that of an ordinary 14 inch notebook, which is estimated to be difficult to meet the needs of the high-definition party.
If you are not a professional watcher who doesn't watch 1080P movies, but also have requirements for projection volume and image quality, the X5 is a good choice. However, if the budget is limited and the requirements for color saturation are not high, it is estimated that nuts and rice worth 2000 yuan are more suitable for you.
