On March 16, the OnePlus mobile phone released the screen parameters of the OnePlus 9 series (which should mean OnePlus 9 Pro) in the official warm-up. The new machine uses a real 10 bit, 1 billion color LTPO screen, and claims to have broken 13 display records for DisplayMate.

The LTPO screen of One Plus 9 Pro has a native 10bit, 2K+120Hz refresh rate, 8192 level brightness adjustment, and automatic color temperature sensing function. The core upgrade is 10bit and LTPO. The latter is the abbreviation of Low Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide, which is called low-temperature polycrystalline oxide in Chinese. It allows the screen to adjust the refresh rate adaptively according to the display content, so as to achieve the goal of power saving.

LTPO technology has been used on the Apple Watch Series 4 released as early as September 2018, but it was supplied by LG that year, and AOD is not always on (later Apple Watch supports it). However, the application on mobile phones is relatively late. Last year, Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra began large-scale application. This year, the lowest refresh rate of Galaxy S21 Ultra is "only" 10Hz. The recently released OPPO Find X3 series hardware is at least 5Hz.

According to convention, the One Plus 9 Pro should be equipped with the same screen as the OPPO Find X3 series. But interestingly, only 12 DisplayMate display records were mentioned in the OPPO press conference, while one plus 9 Pro claimed to have broken 13 records, and I don't know what the extra records are.

One plus 9 is expected to follow the design of straight screen+single hole in the upper left corner similar to one plus 8T, and the three camera module, like the one plus 9 Pro, has the Hasselblad logo; It is reported that the camera is 50MP+48MP+2MP. In addition to the 3 times less telephoto lens than the Pro version, the specific specifications of the long and wide dual cameras may be slightly different.

The One Plus 9 Pro is expected to take the main picture of the 48MP IMX789 with the original frame ratio of 16:11. The ratio of 16:9 is used when shooting videos and 4:3 is used when taking photos. Ultra wide angle is the same 50MP IMX766 of Find X3, with free-form lens. The long focal length is 3.3 times the optical focal length.
