This is the first time in my life to use such an expensive case. Generally, the standard of purchase is about 500 cases. This time, I was lucky to try the cool MasterCase H500P Zhongta RGB case, a 1000 yuan class case. Let's feel it together

Prepare to unpack

When I first received the case, I was very worried because I was shocked by the damage of the package. I'm really worried that the box I just received will explode before I can play. Fortunately, the case was not damaged. The protection of the outer packaging for the product is still in place.

The front is mainly a display of the appearance of the chassis. At the lower right corner are many motherboard manufacturers' RGB compatibility certifications, ASUS's AURA, MSI's Mystic RGB, and so on. The product name and emphasis in the lower left corner are two 200mm large RGB Fans.

The back of the box describes some features of the chassis. Applied technology and realizable expansion. Very rich, cool cold practices in many languages.

The two sides of the box are the photos of the front panel of the box and the detailed parameters of the box. It can be seen that the two front panel 200mm fans are the selling points of this chassis.

The maximum length of the graphics card is 412mm, and the CPU height is limited to 192mm. This is the biggest box I've ever used...

The fan speed of 200 mm on the front panel is 800. Such a large fan is easy to break if it rotates too fast.

Unpacking

The chassis is really heavy, and the bare box weighs 23.2 kg. Cool Cool has a nice built-in handbag to prevent the chassis from being too heavy and hard to remove.

I finally saw my true face. It is recommended that you take it out with the help of friends. It's still a bit difficult to be alone.

Although it is a mid tower chassis, it is compatible with EATX, plus the 544X242X542mm body. It's a big guy in the case of the tower.

Front panel Side panel of tempered glass. It is worth mentioning that for ordinary chassis, the tempered glass side panel will choose to stick black edges or black gray glass. The Cool Cool MasterCase H500P is both.

The tempered glass can be removed only by a screw switch. This card slot just holds a one yuan coin and can be rotated 90 degrees.

The dust screen of the chassis is a double-layer perforated honeycomb filter screen plus a small hole filter screen.

The fake metallic paint once made me think that the decoration was metallic.

The panel has a strong overall feeling. USB 3.0 has also been blackened. The restart button is small and deep. If you need to press it, you must use your fingertips to press it, so as to avoid accidental touch. The hard drive light and power light will be white when they are lit. It would be better if Type-C interface could be provided.

The panel is designed to tilt, and a position for upper air intake is reserved for the 20mm fan of the chassis.

The transparent material of the front panel and upper panel is polycarbonate, which is often referred to as PC material. Polycarbonate is a high-quality plate made by co extrusion technology CO-EXTRUSION. Because its surface is covered with a layer of high concentration ultraviolet absorber, in addition to the characteristics of ultraviolet resistance, it can maintain long-term weather resistance and never fade. The light transmittance of PC material is about 87%. This can better filter out the unwanted stray light of RGB composite colors. The color will appear more pure.

There are thick foot pads at the bottom. And the dust screen of the power supply.

The dust screen is designed by pulling. The power supply also has corresponding floor mats for shock resistance.

Very textured and large chassis screws.

The price difference between the 1000 yuan chassis and the 100 yuan chassis is not only reflected in the materials, but also in the design. The bezel for embedding cables in the chassis and the power supply bezel and hard disk bit bezel below are removable. You can define the shape of your chassis by yourself, and you can also easily route cables.

The first thing we see is a 14 mm silent fan with a maximum speed of 1200 rpm. Pure black design, no lights. 3Pin interface.

Two 2.5-inch hard disk racks directly below. The screws are very textured. On the one hand, the reverse mounting design can protect the hard disk and prevent the graphics card or the heat dissipation from falling down and damaging the hard disk. After all, data is priceless. On the one hand, it avoids the influence of hard disk color inconsistency on matching.

The power supply bit has a cool LOGO.

The corresponding specifications of the main board support column are also carefully marked.

Two screw free positioning posts are also pre installed. It is convenient for positioning when installing the motherboard.

The video card position used to vertically install the video card, but no adapter cable is provided. After all, the cheap cable is afraid of burning the video card, which is too difficult to serve because of the high cost of the chassis. Players can try it at their discretion.

The routing locations provided are very rich. The motherboard protective armor installed on the back of the chassis can be seen from the front.

A 360MM fan/cold rack is reserved on the front panel of the chassis. Three 12mm fans can be installed without removing two 200mm fans from the front panel.. Five fans overlap each other. The air volume is very large..  

To be honest, the moment I opened the back, I really didn't want to install the back panel. The first time I found that the back of the original chassis can also be very handsome.

Open the hidden line armor, and you can take out all the chassis wires. All blackened.

There are also two 3.5-inch hard disk bits hidden in the hidden line armor. These two hard disk bits can only be installed from the front. It cannot be removed from the back.

disintegrate

The removable armor or module of the chassis is fixed in the mode of buckle+screw. Therefore, it is easy to remove all modules or armor without removing a few screws.

However, it is worth mentioning that most of the armor and modules are interlinked. The hidden line armor printed with Designed by Cooler Master needs to be removed first.

The armor removal screws of the power supply and hard disk are hidden in the cracks of the front panel. You only need to remove one screw to remove them.

Easily removed all armor. I'm afraid it's no problem for a super novice to route like this...

The drawer type 3.5-inch hard disk rack with mechanical snap can install mechanical hard disks without screws. This hard disk rack can also be removed.

The 360mm fan rack on the top can also be removed. It is easy to install a fan or water-cooling device after removal.

Remove the front panel to expose two large 200mm RGB fans on the front panel.

The rotation speed is 800 RPM. Don't underestimate the fact that the air volume at 800 RPM is much larger than that at 2000 RPM with 12mm. The key is very quiet! Even in a quiet night, it is difficult to detect its sound.

The front panel and the upper panel can be easily removed with only a little force, so when you end the chassis, you must not pull the lower part of the front panel by hand to prevent the panel from loosening and the chassis from falling.

It is worth mentioning that even though it is difficult to detect the air inlet, Cooma also installed a dust screen. It may be that the air volume of these two 200mm fans is too large. You can feel the obvious air suction when you touch the air inlet.

The small accessory box is equipped with a 3pin to 4pin adapter cable. A bracket for mounting the fan. A cloth is also provided to wipe the chassis.

RGB three in one adapter cable provides an additional adapter for two large fans. It also has a protective sleeve to prevent deformation and full of details.

Without binding, wiring becomes very easy. It is worth mentioning that the chassis is still recommended to use customized cables or the power supply that is not wrapped in snakeskin, so the wiring will look more beautiful.

Light up

The 200mm large chassis fan is particularly eye-catching, and the light effect becomes more pure and transparent after polycarbonate filtering. Even at night, it will not be very dazzling.

Application and testing

The large fan of the H500P supports ASUS's AURA light effect control, and there are many modes for playing, such as breathing, flowing, music, always on, etc.. Interested students can try to combine RGB with their own style.

Because the fan is equipped with a 3pin interface, the speed cannot be adjusted directly, but it can be adjusted through the Fan Xpert 4 function of ASUS Suite3.

The best criterion for judging the quality of several cases is whether there is a good air duct. I used the P300 luxury version to test the above one. After playing a chicken eating game, the temperature of the graphics card reached the highest temperature of 80 degrees. The small case is equipped with three 120mm fans.

The next one is my performance after using the Cool Cool MasterCase H500P. The difference is 10 degrees, which is quite obvious. Good air ducts are even more powerful for Vega, a graphics card with turbine heat dissipation.
