It is expected that the chassis will be relatively large when looking at the outer package, but actually when I saw the chassis body, I still felt a little sigh. What a big guy! Although the specific dimensions of the chassis 544 x 242 x 542mm are known, Nabijing is just an abstract data, which is completely different from the subjective feeling when actually seeing it. For a long time, the impression of the middle tower chassis is the size of the ordinary ATX chassis I used before. I never expected that the size difference would be so obvious. It's a small place. I have little experience!
The H500P is dark gray, and its overall appearance is designed in a rough and tough style. The heat dissipation fence of the front panel and top panel is also separated by a relatively large line, which looks very imposing. Different from the common square and upright chassis, the H500P looks fashionable and cool in appearance. The corners and connections of the chassis have been slightly angled, with more changes. The appearance is less rigid and more flexible. At the connection between the top cover and the front panel, the oblique section design is increased, and the key switches and interfaces of the chassis are centralized here. Compared with the interfaces at the top or side, it is obviously more convenient to use.
As the main cabinet with RGB light effects, it is necessary to use transparent materials to properly increase the visibility of all parts. Side transparency should be the basic attribute attached to all the main cabinets with RGB light effects. The H500P is no exception, but it uses a fully transparent side cover design and tempered glass materials. The whole 4mm thick tempered glass is formed in one time for fine mold opening. The accuracy is excellent, the details are also handled well, and the edges are polished fine and smooth. The front panel and top cover can support the installation of 2 maximum 20CM RGB fan. The chassis is equipped with two 20CM RGB fans of MF200R model as standard, which are fixed under the front panel. The two fans look like a pair of big watery eyes through the panel, but the "eyes" of such a large size are somewhat arrogant. I think this may be the most eye-catching place of the whole chassis!
The front panel and the top cover are also easy to remove. The panel and the box are not tightened with buckles or gongs, but fixed by magnetic suction, and can be removed with a single button. Because it is too easy to remove and the handle is not designed, special attention should be paid to the stressed parts when moving the chassis to avoid accidental dropping and damage of the panel.
The two RGB fans are meticulously made. The fan blades are translucent white, and the color of each part is uniform without color difference. High quality materials are used to facilitate the transmission of light. In order to improve the stability, a ring is added to the periphery of the fan blade for connection and fixation. The illuminant is placed at the rotating axis at the root of the fan blade, and the light radiates outward. It can form a halo outside, in fact, it is also good for improving the ornamental.
The transparent material used in the panel is no longer tempered glass, but a wear-resistant PC (polycarbonate) material. This material has high optical performance and good permeability, which is comparable to that of tempered glass. At the same time, it has strong toughness, good wear resistance and mechanical properties, and is easy to shape and lighter. Tempered glass may be better in texture, but its plasticity is poor. It is not feasible to use glass materials on these two panels with varied shapes. The back of the H500P chassis is also equipped with a 14cm exhaust fan, which forms a straight air duct with the front fan and the CPU cooling fan to enhance the heat dissipation performance.
There are 7 conventional horizontal PCI blanks reserved on the back, and 2 additional vertical PCI blanks. When the monitor is not connected, the keyboard and mouse are powered on directly. At the moment when the two "eyes" light up, the RGB fan of the CPU radiator also lights up synchronously.
