According to the report of Taiwan media digitimes, the new generation SoC Helio X30 and X35 series of MediaTek may take the lead in manufacturing with the 10nm process, and TSMC will contract them, and plans to open another series of 10nm processes to serve high-end equipment.
MediaTek X30 is expected to adopt the design of 2 * A73+4 * A53+4 * A35, support up to 8GB of memory, and may use 4-core PowerVR as GPU. Compared with the current Helio product, it will have a big improvement. Against Qualcomm's Snapdragon and Samsung's Exynos processor, it will be mass produced from the end of 2016 to the beginning of 2017 according to the schedule. Of course, the price will continue MediaTek's tradition.
