Style changes on the "Mavericks" system

"Mavericks" has greatly improved the calendar function. The original "skeleton" style is abandoned. The interface looks more concise and clean, and some practical functions are added.

Users can easily switch between weeks, months, and years to view their own tags at will. It is now more convenient to create new event tags.

In addition, the new calendar can also display the location of the event in the map, calculate and provide us with the relative traffic distance and time, and even integrate the local weather conditions to provide users with the information they need for travel.

The expression of the once "skeumorphism" style in memoranda, calendars and other software is that there are many elements of various virtual design. Now in "Mavericks", all the previous imitative styles have disappeared.

Notification Center

In fact, just the improvement of "Mavericks" in the OS X notification center is worth downloading 4.79GB files and spending an hour upgrading your system.

Just like on the iPhone, we now need to process more and more notification information on the PC side. If we subdivide this information into different kinds of applications and open these applications in turn, our screen will be paved.

Now, the new notification center function has become more friendly. When a new message arrives, we will receive a bubble prompt, and we can reply to messages and emails by clicking the bubble directly.

And according to the news released by Apple, the notification center of "Mavericks" can also display tips from the web page, but this feature seems to be mainly for providing third-party developers with web development.

Support multi screen full screen display

For a long time, the multi screen display function provided by OS X is unsatisfactory, and the experience of this function on MountainLion is as bad as ever. For example, if a user opens an application on any screen in the full screen mode, the open window on other screens will be completely unavailable.

But in Mavericks, when we use multiple screens, each independent screen is very useful. Now you can use full screen applications on every screen. In addition, an independent menu bar will be displayed on each screen, and users can move the Dock bar at will.

In addition, the experience effect of this function on AirPlay is also very good. Mavericks enables our TV to become a real "second screen" rather than an awkward external display screen.

Finder tab, marking function

The new Finder memo page function allows users to pull the left and right windows under a tab, which is similar to the familiar tab operation experience. When necessary, press the "Add button" next to the window to add a new tab.

With this tab function, users can group and quickly find files under the same tag (including files on iCloud). When searching, users can directly click the tag on the sidebar of Finder, or search the tag through the search box.

In addition to the new tab function, the Finder on "Mavericks" also provides a marking function, such as the color marking shown in the lower left corner of the Finder in the above two figures, which can mark documents freely according to individual wishes and classify them into the same category.

Apple Map

To be honest, this time on OS X 10.9, Apple Maps is really a breakthrough. Apple has integrated maps into all the places we can think of. But at home, you should have known that there are still many new features of the new Apple map that cannot be experienced in China.

Just like iOS7, which we are trying out recently, "Mavericks" this time is just an early "developer" test preview version. We can't ask for it with an "interrogation" mentality.

It should be clear to everyone that the 200 improvements Apple claims to have in "Mavericks" are not all new applications or functions. More improvements are mainly reflected in the interface and performance.
