Huawei Hongmeng OS 2.0 Mobile Developer Beta Release: P40 and Mate30 are listed

On December 16, Huawei officially released the Hongmeng Harmony OS 2.0 mobile phone developer beta, and launched an online public beta recruitment for developers. The deadline is January 31 next year. The first batch of supported devices include Huawei P40/P40 Pro, Huawei Mate30/Mate30 Pro and Huawei MatePad Pro.

Huawei's positioning for HarmonyOS is "a full scene distributed operating system for the Internet of Everything era", and its goal is to provide "a super terminal experience for the Internet of Everything era". Although widely concerned by users, "Harmony OS 2.0 Mobile Developer Beta", as its name implies, is for developers. It involves the system bottom layer and application development. The EMUI that actually interacts with users is very close to the underlying EMUI of the current version of Android.

At this stage, only individual/enterprise developers who need real name authentication on the official website of the Huawei Developers Alliance can participate in the public beta registration. The list of devices that can apply for a try: Huawei P40 P40 Pro, Mate30, Mate30 (5G), Mate30 Pro, Mate30 Pro (5G) and MatePad Pro, the specific corresponding models are ANA-AN00, ELS-AN00, TAS-AL00, TAS-AN00, LIO-AL00, LIO-AN00, MRX-AL19, MRX-W09 and MRX-AN19 (there is no flagship Mate40 series of Xinke. Holding the Mate40 Pro+, which is extremely difficult to grab, tears appear in the corners of the eyes).

After receiving the official public beta confirmation email, you can directly receive the OTA system push. The official has provided a fallback method. The official stable firmware can be returned through Huawei mobile assistant (data will be cleared).

Finally, a brief summary of the enhanced features released by Huawei Hongmeng OS 2.0 mobile phone developer beta, including more than 15000 APIs (supporting the development of mobile phone/PAD, large screen, wearable, and car phone applications), distributed application frameworks, distributed UI controls, and DevEco Studio 2.0 Beta 3. Huawei said that Hongmeng OS has been carried by Midea, Jiuyang, Boss Appliance and Haique Technology this year. Next year, it aims to cover more than 40 mainstream brands and more than 100 million devices.
