Test model:

Cotex-A7: U956 (quad core, 1.2GHz by default)
Cortex-A8: i9000 (single core, 1GHz by default)
CortexA9: NoteII (quad core, default 1.6GHz)
Cortex-A15: i9500 (4+4 cores, default 1.6GHz for A15 cores)
Krait200: Xperia Z (four cores, default 1.5GHz)
Krait300: Mi2S (quad core, default 1.7GHz)

Because A8 is a single core, the soft solution can't compare with the other four cores, Test results are all locked at 1GHz with setcpu

 

1080p AB OP soft solution (multi-core performance):

To sum up: A15 stands out from the rest. A7 is not as bad as expected and is better than A8 in many cases. A9 is still a benchmark, and Krait300 performs fairly well.
