TSMC today announced its financial report for the fourth quarter of 2014. Thanks to the OEM of processors for Apple, TSMC's net profit in the quarter reached 2.51 billion dollars, and the net profit for the whole year of 2014 reached 8.33 billion dollars, up 40% year on year. TSMC announced that its total operating expenses in 2015 would rise from 9.52 billion dollars to 12 billion dollars, to maintain its competitiveness.
