Not long ago, the new generation flagship of MediaTek SoC Tianji 9000 was just released. Recently, key information related to the sub flagship of MediaTek SoC Tianji 7000 (rumor, not the final exact name) was exposed again.
According to the blogger's "digital chat station", the Tianji 7000 platform (sample piece) uses TSMC's 5nm process technology. The CPU integrates four A78 cores with a frequency of 2.75GHz and four A55 cores with a frequency of 2.0GHz. The GPU uses the Mali-G510 MC6 configuration.
Previously, it also revealed that the running of Anthurian Rabbit, a prototype of Tianji 7000 project, was about 750000 points, and its overall performance was between Snapdragon 870 and Snapdragon 888. Next, it will replace the existing Tianji 1200 and position itself in the mid market.
From the exposure parameters, the A78 CPU architecture of the Tianji 7000 is still the same as that of the Tianji 1100/1200, but it has changed to a 2.75GHz co frequency design (the large core may still be a 1+3 design). At the same time, the cache may be upgraded, but the single core performance may not be better than that of the Tianji 1200 with a 3.0GHz large core - just from this perspective, This chip seems more like the iteration of Tianji 1100; The G510 adopted by the GPU is the latest architecture of ARM. It claims that the comprehensive performance has been improved by 100%. Although it has only six cores, it should not be a problem to defeat the G77-MC9 on Tianji 1100/1200.
Xiaolong 870/865 and Tianji 1200/1100 run points comparison
Considering that the Tianji 1200 has slightly exceeded the Snapdragon 865 in terms of CPU and GPU theoretical performance (of course, the energy efficiency ratio is lagging behind), as the second flagship of Tianji 1200, it is not surprising that the Tianji 7000 has slightly exceeded the Snapdragon 870 with the same architecture as the 865. However, whether it can be welcomed by the market depends on the measured performance/power consumption performance of the terminal after it is launched.
