Two years after the first generation of Hyper 612, Cool Cool launched its second generation product. The Hyper 612 Ver. 2, which still focuses on silence, has greatly changed its structure and improved its materials. With these improvements, its price is still close to the people and it is also a strong competitor among entry-level radiators.
As an entry-level product, Hyper 612 Ver.2 is also simpler in packaging design. There are corresponding rendering drawings and completion drawings on the package.
On the side are various features and parameters. Hyper 612 Ver.2 has 11dBA extremely low noise, exclusive CDC technology, which makes heat dissipation faster, and special angled fins.
Built in corresponding accessories, silicone grease and instructions. Interesting fan racks are also included. In terms of support platform, Hyper 612 Ver.2 supports AMD and Intel, among which Intel supports 115X, 1366 and 2011.
Hyper 612 Ver. 2 is equipped with a 12cm silent fan, the specific model is DF1202512RFLN, which also appears in many products of Cool Cool. The fan speed is 800~1300 rpm, supporting PMW speed regulation.
Hyper 612 Ver.2 uses the current air cooling radiator's consistent large size tower design, with the upper size of 139 * 102 * 160.4mm. Small boxes may not work well. In details, it is a single tower six heat pipe design, U-shaped symmetrical distribution, and has slotting design and adjustment for optimal compatibility, which increases the air intake while reducing resistance, and also avoids incompatibility with comb type memory.
On the heat pipe, it uses HDT heat pipe direct contact technology, uses interval bending on the base, and has a corresponding X-shaped hollow design on the top, which is its unique X-Vent exhaust technology. This technology can play a role in enhancing the air pressure, improving the heat transfer efficiency of the heat pipe, and making up for the shortcomings of the FIN process.
Hyper 612 Ver.2 is specially designed for fins. The U-shaped symmetrical distribution used is divided in the middle, and the top two pieces and the bottom one piece are completed, which can accelerate the heat dissipation speed. Fins and heat pipes use FIN technology, and each contact has corresponding X-Ven exhaust technology.
Interestingly, Hyper 612 Ver.2 provides two options for fan fasteners. One is the more common steel wire suspension type, and the other is the fan bracket. There is no performance difference between the two parallel fasteners, but the fan bracket looks more integrated and handsome.

It can also be seen that the Hyper 612 Ver.2 is cheap on the chassis, and because of the height of the chassis, the compatibility problem of comb memory can be avoided. In addition, I personally think the attached fan bracket looks more beautiful after combination. Of course, Hyper 612 Ver.2 can be equipped with two fans, and there is no need to worry about scalability.
As the successor, the Hyper 612 Ver.2, launched two years later by the predecessor, focuses on the selling point of silence. It has greatly improved in materials and details, especially in terms of compatibility adjustments and small creativity of fan fasteners. As an entry-level product, Hyper 612 Ver. 2 has its own characteristics, but it also maintains sufficient heat dissipation performance, let alone its performance in mute. It is worth choosing by entry-level players.
