I believe many of my friends use Android phones. Normally, they use USB data cables to connect their phones with computers to transmit pictures, videos, audio, documents and other information. What if I forget to bring a USB cable one day? Can I transfer data from my computer to my mobile phone? The answer is yes! As long as your phone is installed with this magical software AirDroid, you can abandon your USB cable and manage your Android phone wirelessly with your browser via WiFi on your computer!
AirDroid is a free software running on Android mobile phones. It allows you to manage your mobile phone directly in the browser. The software for image and song transmission can be used to send messages! You don't need to install software or data cable on the computer. All you need is a WiFi+browser. First install the AirDroid into the mobile phone to ensure that the computer and mobile phone are in the same WLAN, then you can say goodbye to the data line!
First, install and run AirDroid on your mobile phone. An interface as shown in the figure will appear, reminding you how to operate it simply. Friends who meet for the first time should look at the steps carefully.
Enter the IP address of the software in the computer browser, and then enter the password given in the second column to log in and manage the files and software in the phone.
After logging in, it will feel like a desktop operation interface. I will briefly introduce the interface. On the left is the quick operation, including adding SMS, adding contacts, returning to the home page and exiting. There is an apps search function on the top, and basic phone information on the right. You can also click Detail to view more detailed content. There are nine operation items when the Market link is interrupted. Let's introduce them slowly below.
Click Details on the right to enter, and you will see basic information like this.
SMS management
The SMS management interface will directly list the information on the current mobile phone, and each message will display the sender and then the content. If you want to send a message, you can click New Message in the upper right corner.
When you reply to a friend's message, it will also be displayed in a dialog box like this, which is very convenient for browsing. When new messages are received, new messages will also be displayed at the bottom right.
Application Management
It can be directly installed and managed. The most convenient thing is to remove applications in batches.
file management
Instead of introducing it, you should browse the content of the SD card in your phone and manage it directly.
Picture management
You can also delete, download, or transfer files in batches.
Music management
With the music management function, in addition to file management, you can also play the music in the phone directly on the computer. When playing, there will also be a floating music control toolbar for operation.
Ring tone management
You can set the default ringing tone, notification sound effect and alarm sound effect here. There is a "Set" behind each sound effect, which can be set directly.
contact manager
You can add/edit/delete contact information.
Communication record management
You can see all the communication records in the mobile phone, and you can also delete some records that should not appear.
Paste this management
This can directly copy information from the mobile phone, take it out from here, or input content from here and send it to the mobile phone, and then paste it from the mobile phone to facilitate interactive editing of content.
Trial summary
Basically, the functions that Peapod and 91 Phone Assistant have, AirDroid has: including but not limited to wireless file transmission, SMS sending and receiving management, application installation/uninstallation, convenient management tools (such as device status/process management/SD card control), browsing and searching of multimedia files such as pictures and music, and also saves the trouble of plugging data lines. The AirDroid only implements these functions as a software on the phone, which is really amazing.
Because it is managed through a browser, it can be said that no matter what your operating system is, such as Linux and Mac, it can be directly operated. It is too powerful!
