On the afternoon of September 9, MediaTek held a media communication meeting and announced the introduction of the new Xunkun 900T chip.
Like the previously released Xun Kun 1300T, which has been launched for the first time in the glory tablet V7 Pro, the Xun Kun 900T is also a SoC designed for tablets.
Xunkun 900T adopts TSMC's 6nm manufacturing process and integrates two 2.4GHz A78 architecture CPU cores and six 2.0GHz A55 small cores, The GPU is Mali-G68 MC4, equipped with the third generation AI processor of MediaTek; In terms of communication and connectivity, Xunkun 900T supports 5G networking, 2 × 2 WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.
In terms of support for peripheral specifications, Xunkun 900T supports LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.1 flash memory, 2000 × 1200 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate screen, HDR10+and Dolby View, and 4K 30fps video codec and real-time SDR content to HDR; In terms of image, it supports up to 108 million pixel sensors.
This chip has also made targeted optimization for some tablet use scenarios, such as supporting stylus delay as low as 8 ms on average, real-time background virtualization for video conferencing, and coexistence of Bluetooth/WiFi devices with low interference.
From several key parameters of Xunkun 900T, this chip is more like Tianji 900 (6nm, 2 × 2.4GHz A78, 6 × 2.0GHz A55, Mali-G68 MC4 GPU).
