On July 27, MediaTek announced the launch of a new mobile computing platform - Xun Kun 1300T, designed for tablet computers and Chromebook notebook products.
Like the previous Tianji 1100/1200, the Xunkun 1300T still uses TSMC's 6nm manufacturing process and integrates eight core CPUs with Cortex-A78 and A55 architectures (the specific frequency is not announced yet, but it should not be too different from Tianji 1200), The GPU is Mali-G77 MC9 (the core size is the same as Tianji 1000/1100/1200, but the frequency is slightly different), equipped with HyperEngine 3.0 game engine.
The chip also integrates 5G baseband and supports 5G Sub-6GHz full band, 5G dual carrier aggregation and 5G dual card dual standby.
In terms of support for peripheral hardware specifications, Xunkun 1300T supports 120Hz refresh rate, 2560 × 1600 resolution screen, HDR10+content display and chip level blue light filtering, WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, 108 million pixel sensor, 4K 60fps video codec and 4K HDR video recording on the image.
At present, MediaTek and Glory officials have announced that the Glory tablet V7 Pro released on August 12 will be equipped with this Xunkun 1300T chip for the first time.
