Android 12 Beta 3 Release: Long screenshots are finally supported

On July 15, it was reported that Google recently launched the Beta 3 version of Android 12, bringing some new features.

Among them, the long screenshot scrolling function, which is popular among users and was previously skipped on Android 11, has also been added to Android 12 Beta 3 this time. Now, after users select the screenshot operation, a "Capture more" option will appear at the bottom, and then they can scroll down and adjust the range of long screenshots.

In fact, Google also launched this feature on the first developer preview version of Android 11 last year, but it was removed in several subsequent beta updates and the final official version. This time, Google promised to continuously improve the scrolling screenshot function.

Of course, for users who are used to customizing Android systems in China, the long screenshot update of Android 12 is simply too backward. After all, the long screenshot function has been added to MIUI and Flyme as early as 2016.

In addition to long screenshots, Android 12 Beta 3 also adds an automatic rotation function based on face detection, which can intelligently switch the rotation of horizontal and vertical screens by recognizing the angle of the face viewing screen (an old function of Huawei Mate 30 series). Currently, it supports Pixel 4 and newer Pixel models; The local global search function is also launched in this update.

According to the update plan previously announced by Google, the official version of Android 12 will be released in August.
