MediaTek Tianji 700 Releases: Enhance CPU Performance

On November 11, it was reported that MediaTek's mid-range 5G chip lineup today can be said to be eye-catching, such as Tianji 1000L, Tianji 820, Tianji 800, Tianji 800U, Tianji 720. Their swordsmanship is well known by Laohuang. Today, they launched an entry-level 5G chip Tianji 700.

Tianji 700 adopts TSMC's 7nm manufacturing process. The CPU part integrates two 2.2GHz A76 cores and six 2.0GHz A55 cores. The GPU is 950MHz Mali-G57 MC2. It adopts an integrated 5G baseband design, supports dual mode 5G, 5G dual carrier aggregation and 5G dual card dual standby, with a maximum downlink rate of 2.77Gbps; ISP supports up to 64 megapixel cameras.

In terms of peripheral support, Tianji 700 supports screens with a maximum resolution of 2520 × 1080 and a refresh rate of 90Hz, supports LPDDR4X memory and UFS 2.2 flash memory, and supports WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1.

Compared with the previously launched Tianji 720 (2 × 2.0GHz A76, 6 × 2.0GHz A55, Mali-G57 MC3), the main frequency of the Tianji 700 CPU core has been increased from 2.0GHz to 2.2GHz, and the CPU performance has been enhanced. However, GPU has cut off one core, which is a choice.

With the launch of Tianji 700, 5G mobile phones in the price range of 1000 yuan or even 100 yuan will be further popularized.
