On August 11, it was reported that IDC, a market research organization, released a tracking report on the domestic tablet market in the second quarter today.

Data shows that 6.61 million units were shipped in China's domestic market in the second quarter, up 17.7% year on year. The demand for online education and remote office caused by the epidemic, as well as the continuation of orders in the previous quarter and channel replenishment, made the domestic tablet market recover strongly.

Specifically, for each manufacturer, Huawei, which shipped 2.76 million Apple tablet computers in the domestic market, exceeded 2.45 million, and regained the first place in the domestic single quarter shipment and market share. In the past year, Huawei has won the domestic shipment champion for several consecutive quarters with the strong performance of the M6 and MatePad series. However, Huawei's year-on-year growth of 59.5% in the second quarter is still very eye-catching.

Microsoft and Lenovo shipped 230000 and 170000 sets respectively. It can be seen that the shipping volume of these two manufacturers is significantly different from that of Apple and Huawei in the first echelon. In the tablet market, where there are few players, users really have limited choices today.

In addition, from the perspective of function classification, the shipments of pluggable keyboard tablets increased by 286.0% to 3.92 million units, which clearly shows that Apple, Huawei and other manufacturers have made great efforts to expand the productivity function attributes of tablet products at all price points in the recent year.
