On May 19, it was reported that Samsung officially released a camera CMOS named ISOCELL GN1. ISOCELL GN1 has 50 million pixels and a single pixel area of 1.2 μ m. It supports Dual Pixel dual pixel focusing and Tetracell technology and can output 12.5 million pixel photos through four in one pixels. At this time, the equivalent single pixel area reaches 2.4 μ m. This sensor also supports intelligent ISO, real-time HDR and other technologies, and can shoot 8K 30fps video.

Samsung official said that ISOCELL GN1 will start mass production this month. In terms of specifications, Samsung's GM1 is relatively close to Sony's IMX700 - this 1/1.28 inch CMOS with a large bottom is currently exclusively owned by Huawei and is installed on P40 series, Glory 30 Pro/Pro+and other models.
