Meizu 16s does not use Samsung Exynos 9820, or embrace Snapdragon 8150

Love to play computer games On November 14, it was reported that Samsung released its new mobile flagship processor Exynos 9820 today, and some digital enthusiasts began to speculate about when Meizu could use this chip. However, according to Grass Grass, the flagship mobile phone Meizu 16s next year will not use the Samsung Exynos 9820, but will be the first to use Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150. The shape of the new machine is similar to the current Meizu 16, and the frame may be replaced with stainless steel.

The first half of this disclosure is highly credible. According to the convention, Samsung's flagship processor will not be used by Meizu until one year after its release, and Meizu 16s should be released in the first half of 2019. With the cooperation with Qualcomm, Meizu will get the Snapdragon 8150, so at least Meizu 16s will not use the Exynos 9820. It is not meaningful for Meizu 16s successor model to use Exynos 9820 again. Therefore, the author speculates that Meizu's flagship model in the future may not have the chance to use Samsung chips.

It was previously revealed that Roland Quandt said that the Snapdragon 8150 (Snapdragon 855) would use three CPU clusters, namely two super cores, two big cores and four small cores, similar to the Kirin 980 and Exynos 9820. The Snapdragon 8150 also integrates the X24 4G LTE baseband. If the mobile phone using this processor wants to support the 5G network, it needs an external X50 baseband.
