Today Lenovo released two laptops equipped with AMD Ryzen processors, ThinkPad E485 and ThinkPad E585, with a front screen of 14 inches and a rear screen of 15 inches.
These two new laptops have three processor versions, namely, Ryzen 3 2200U, Ryzen 5 2500U and Ryzen 7 2700U, and are equipped with AMD Vega core graphics cards. Both of them support DDR4 memory of up to 32GB SO-DIMMs. In addition, they provide up to 512GB M.2 NVMe solid state disk, ITB or 500GB 7200 RPM mechanical hard disk. The new product has 1366 * 768/1920 * 1080 resolutions, and the latter is realized on the IPS screen. Both have built-in 45 Wh batteries, and users can choose 65W chargers. 80% of the power can be charged for one hour.
The appearance of the E485 is basically similar to that of the E585. The difference is that the E485 is 33 cm x 24 cm x 2.2 cm in three dimensions and weighs 1.8 kg, while the E585 is 37 cm x 25 cm x 2 cm and weighs 2.1 kg, due to its small body and no keypad area. Both provide one USB-C, two USB 3.1, one USB 2.0 HDMI、 Four in one card reader, RJ45 and audio interface.
The launch date and price of the new products have not been announced yet by Lenovo. Because they are positioned as business notebooks, they will pre install Windows 10 Professional Edition.
