ARM officially released several products on March 6, including the mainstream and entry-level GPU Mali-G52/G31, Mali-V52 for video and Mali-D51 for display.
Taking the Qualcomm processor as an analogy, Mali-G52 is equivalent to the Snapdragon 600 series, an upgraded version of G51: its performance is improved by 30%, energy efficiency is improved by 15%, and machine learning and computing are significantly improved by 3.6 times.
The entry-level Mali-G31 is equivalent to the positioning of the Snapdragon 400, which is based on the improvement of Mali-G51 and replaces the previous Mali-400 series. The performance of a single Mali-G31 is about 20% higher than that of the G51 MP2. This performance is much better than that of the previous 400.
At the same time, two matching chips, V52 and D51, have been updated. Compared with the previous V61 and DP650 chips, they have nearly twice the performance improvement and are better matched with G52/G31. After hearing the news from ARM, it is estimated that MediaTek is the most moved manufacturer.
