On January 9, 2018, the first day of CES, Sony Group President Ichiro Hirai personally released the OLED TV A8F series known as "the integration of sound and picture" and "minimalist aesthetics".
In terms of appearance, the A8F inherits the design concept of Sony's "Slice of Living", and adopts the newly designed minimalist bracket and narrow frame design to reduce the floor space of the TV and give users greater visual impact.
Sony A8F series OLED TVs use the X1 Extreme 4K HDR image processor exclusively developed by Sony as an upgraded version of X1. The image processor integrates object-based HDR image reconstruction technology 、 4K HDR 14bit smooth gradient technology and Dual image database Three core technologies.
Sony said that X1 Extreme can really improve the quality of 4K HDR images, give full play to the advantages of OLED displays with more than 8 million self luminous pixels, and let the A8F series bring more profound black, realistic colors and broad perspectives than ever before, enriching users' visual experience.
Of course, the Acoustic Surface screen sound field technology, which was widely praised by the market last year, has also been applied to the A8F OLED TV series. Sony A8F OLED TV has two versions, 55 inch and 65 inch. Sony has not announced the selling price of the A8F.
