After launching the 360 mobile phones N5, N5s, vizza and N6 Pro, 360 officially launched the 360 mobile phones N6 and N6 Lite in Beijing National Convention Center on December 12, with the main selling points being Snapdragon 630 and Endurance. The 360 mobile phone N6/N6 Lite still takes a cost-effective route, bringing the Snapdragon 630 on Sharp S2 and Nokia 7 to the price range of 999 yuan.

Parameter comparison and Snapdragon 630

In terms of price, the basic version of the N6 has the highest price performance ratio. One more level of memory will have touched the near price of the N6 Pro. Compared with the recently launched Hongmi 5 and other models, the N6 Lite has the advantage that the Snapdragon 630 has a slightly better performance, but it does not have a full screen setting. In addition, because it has always been a cost-effective route, there is not much difference in the rear view of 360 series mobile phones except the N6 Pro.

Snapdragon 630 is the successor of Snapdragon 625, but it is the same platform as Snapdragon 660. Most of the basic and peripheral accessories are common to Snapdragon 660. The Snapdragon 660 is a sub flagship that uses a large number of the previous flagship Snapdragon 820/821 "accessories". The final result is the Snapdragon 630, an entry-level SoC that uses LPDDR4x memory, X12 LTE baseband and Spectra 160 ISP.

The Snapdragon 630 is manufactured by 14nm LPP process. The CPU is an 8-core 2.2GHz A53 (actually 4 * 2.2G+4 * 1.8G), and the GPU is Adreno 508. In fact, the CPU performance is not much different from the Snapdragon 625/626 that plays well, while the GPU part is improved by 30%. However, compared with the Adreno 510 of the previous generation flagship Snapdragon 650/652/653, the Adreno 508 still lags behind by a small margin, and we have to lament the precision of Qualcomm's naming digital card bits.

The main weakness of Snapdragon 630 is that the LPDDR4x memory frequency is 1333MHz lower than the 1866MHz of Snapdragon 660. Snapdragon 630 supports Bluetooth 5.0, but the WiFi link speed limit is 433Mbps, half of Snapdragon 660 (867Mbps). The DSP is only the Hexagon 642, not the 660 and the former flagship Hexagon 680. However, it is true that Qualcomm has been able to give a mid tier entry-level SoC the flagship features of memory, baseband and ISP, which is unexpected enough (MediaTek: still let people live).

360 mobile N6

The 360 N6 phone is equipped with a 5.93 inch 18:9 full screen, 2160 * 1080, IPS panel, factory provided with film. The control of the front frame of the fuselage is general, but it is no less than that of the Red Rice 5/5 Plus. The top is a symmetrical 8 megapixel (F2.2 aperture) camera and a light/distance sensor opening, and the bottom is free of touch buttons.

The 360 N6 mobile phone uses a classic three segment body, with plastic material at the top and bottom of the body, and two micro slot antennas at the junction. The 13 million pixel Samsung sensor+F2.0 aperture single shot and back fingerprint identification module are symmetrically placed. The buttons and openings are common left sim card slot, right volume and textured power button, top headphone connector and sub microphone, bottom speaker and mirco USB interface.

The grip of the 360 phone N6 is close to that of most 6.0 inch full screen phones, and the weight is slightly larger, but far less than the weight expected by the author for the 5030mAh battery.

360 mobile N6 Lite

As stated in the press conference, the 360 N6 Lite is similar to the iPhone SE, and is specially reserved for users who are not accustomed to full screen. Its appearance design is much more traditional. The 5.5 inch 1080P IPS screen in the sleek body and the red dot of the home key are both very familiar 360 styles.

The back is composed of an overall frame and a metal back cover in the middle. It looks a bit like the Amazon Kindle 4/5 in those days, but the use of metal and plastic materials is reversed. The camera part has made a similar dual camera setting, putting the camera and flash together. The layout is still left card slot, right volume and power supply, top noise reduction microphone, bottom headphone hole+main microphone+micro USB+speaker.
