On October 16, Canon released the flagship model PowerShot G1X Mark III of the PowerShot blog show G series, which is Canon's first portable camera with APS-C frame and full pixel dual core focusing. The 24.2 million pixel APS-C frame CMOS has a sensitivity range of 100-25600. With the DIGIC 7 image processor, it can achieve a continuous shooting speed of up to 9 pictures per second, and 7 pictures per second under automatic focusing.

The lens aperture is F2.8-5.6, equipped with a 2.36 million point electronic viewfinder, and the 3-inch 1.04 million pixel rotating LCD screen supports multi touch, drag auto focus, smooth area auto focus, and high-precision object tracking. In terms of operation, three quick operation turntables are provided, the common accessory hot boots of EOS system are used, and Canon's external flash group is attached. The PowerShot G1X Mark III also has a certain dust-proof and waterproof capability, with built-in flash, Wi Fi, and support for NFC and Bluetooth.

In addition to the appearance, the PowerShot G1X Mark III is still a relatively thin camera, but the inside is the same as the ordinary low-end SLR. It is APS-C frame CMOS, with a price of about US $1299, about 8600 yuan. It went on sale in November. However, Canon's own mid-range SLR 80D has a starting price of only $1199. The G1X Mark III is still under great pressure.
