Appearance

Take a look at these two switches and sockets that need to be installed into the wall. This switch is single control and can't be installed with dual control. Of course, you can use wireless switches as dual control functions. The functions of the wall mounted switch panel and the external mounted switch panel are the same, but the two holes and three holes of the general external smart switch are too close to be used at the same time, while the two jacks of this wall mounted switch panel are far enough apart to be used separately.

It said that the switch is single control, so the back has only three contacts like the power switch, but their functions are different. The three contacts of the socket are the neutral line, live line and ground line respectively; The three contacts of the double key switch are the switch 1 contact, the switch 2 contact and the live wire. The live wire is in parallel, and only one is needed. In order to facilitate the use of users in the reconstruction of old houses, this switch is a single live wire version, and can be used without a zero wire in the home decoration line.

Except for the air conditioner companion, other accessories in this bedroom set cannot be controlled intelligently if used alone. They all use ZigBee wireless communication technology and are controlled by the gateway.

The two wireless switch panels also use ZigBee wireless communication technology to control other accessories. By default, the wireless single key switch controls the wall socket, and the wireless double key switch and the wall double key switch are interconnected.

Equipment Installation

The installation of the gateway is convenient. As long as you plug in the socket of the air conditioner and then plug the air conditioner plug into the gateway, the temperature sensor can be stuck near the socket with 3M glue.

First, take a look at these two wall type switches. Generally, there will be a double key switch and a socket on the bedside table in the bedroom. It is only necessary to replace these two sockets. The installation of this equipment is very dangerous because it involves electricity. It is recommended to ask an electrician to install it.

When installing, the main switch must be turned off first. This is the reconstruction of the old house. The socket panel is a little simpler. Just reinstall it according to the original line, but I don't know why there are two zero lines.

My original double key switch is dual control, and the circuit is very complicated. I really can't understand it, and I don't want to discard the dual control function of the ceiling lamp, so I reinstalled the double key switch with the original one.

After taking a look at the home, only the ceiling lamp and light band in the living room are single control double keys, so this socket can only be replaced. However, this summer, some insects flew into the exposed wires of the light band, causing two trips. The light band has actually broken.

This double key switch is different from the traditional double key switch. It will not stay when it is turned on, so the socket looks the same when it is turned on and off.

In order to distinguish the switch, there is a power indicator on the top of the switch. Do you think it is necessary to check the socket if the light is on or off? In fact, in addition to controlling the light power supply, the wall socket can also be set as a wireless switch in the APP to control other Mijia intelligent devices.

This human body sensor can be placed in different positions according to different needs. It can be used for home and security judgment at the door, and can be placed at the bedside as a detection source for automatically turning on lights when getting up at night.

Mijia APP is already a very mature product. Android phones can be downloaded from all application platforms and can be logged in using Xiaomi account.

After login, the interface will be a little more complicated. The app can get the weather information of your location according to the mobile phone location, but this weather information cannot be used as linkage parameters.

First, let's check the binding of the air conditioner partner. Select to add a device and find the air conditioner partner. For the first time, the app can directly link with the device. If the app can't find the device, long press the power button on the device and wait for the device to reset.

After the app finds the device, it enters the wifi password according to the prompt. After the device is successfully connected, it marks a location for the device, and then the binding is complete.

In fact, the app can automatically find the device, but it's only a long time after I plug in the socket before binding, and it needs to be reset before binding, The app didn't detect it at first, but it found it by itself after I manually connected it. After the air conditioner partner was bound, other devices automatically appeared in the list, because they were kits. Before leaving the factory, other devices had been bound to the air conditioner partner, so they didn't need to bind themselves. The equipment list can be arranged in order and can be adjusted by yourself.

Let's start with the gateway function. The gateway interface is a play page of network FM. By default, there are only two favorite radio stations. There are three columns of local, national and network in the add page. Dozens of radio stations can be selected, and the content is quite rich, but the function is limited to FM. It's a pity that you can't play your favorite music at will. In addition to playing FM, this interface can also directly control the wall socket and wall switch, and record the use of equipment.

Look at the automation function. In addition to the automation options of various devices displayed in the automation function, the system has three fixed options, namely, alert, doorbell and lazy alarm clock. Only the human body sensor in the bedroom suit has the security function, so there is only one option in the trigger options.

It's a bit strange for the doorbell unless the device only has a human body sensor. I don't know why we can't use the wireless switch as the trigger condition for the doorbell. Maybe we need to purchase other wireless switches from Mijia to use it as the doorbell switch. The doorbell, alarm bell, alarm bell and other sounds can't be previewed on the mobile phone, but only the voice will be sent from the gateway, This is not very friendly. If you change the ring tone outside, the phone cannot preview the sound.

If Mijia socket gateway is used as the gateway of the alarm clock for lazy people, it will be easier to use. If you use an air conditioner partner, it will be a bit troublesome to set the gateway switch to turn off the alarm clock. After all, the air conditioner socket is a bit high, and you really have to get up to turn it off. (In fact, after my personal demonstration... I can still fall asleep again...)

There are three steps to add custom automation functions. One is to set the startup conditions, the second is to set the execution tasks, and the third is to set the effective time period. The effective time period can only be measured in hours, not accurate to minutes and seconds. I think this is a bit unfriendly.

The newly added air conditioner generally has only conventional control options, and does not have some special functions of the air conditioner,

If there is one, you can add it by yourself. The air conditioner partner has infrared learning function. Therefore, other appliances can also be added to it, but unlike the infrared plug-in of mobile phones, it has preset a large number of infrared information of appliances. In addition to the infrared information of air conditioners, the infrared information of other appliances can only be obtained through learning. The newly added device does not have its own dedicated interface, and can only bend to the air conditioning interface. Interface is easy to use with theout infrared function of the mobile phone.

This temperature sensor is mainly used in conjunction with the air conditioner. Through this sensor, the current indoor temperature, humidity and air pressure values can be known. It also displays the curve chart of three parameters within the maximum range of one month in the form of curves.

With the automation function, you can set an operation when the temperature is greater than or less than, and the humidity is greater than or less than a certain value. For example, if I set a humidity higher than 70%, turn on the air conditioner and dehumidify.

Look at the wall socket. The wall socket has no special function and can only be switched on and off. The two holes and three holes cannot be controlled separately, but can only be switched on and off as a whole.

There is a problem with the interface of the two switches on the wall. On the left side of the interface is the switch on the right side of the wall. The control interface is reversed. I mentioned earlier that a light broke. It doesn't matter. In the switch settings, you can turn that button into a wireless switch and use it to control other smart home appliances through automation. After setting, only the physical switch will become a wireless switch, and the app will still be a light switch.  

By default, the wireless switch is not displayed in the list on the home page. It can only be found in the device interface of the gateway. Long press the device to add it to the home page display for future search. By default, the wireless single key is used to control the wall socket, and the wireless double key is used to control the wall double key. Its function can be modified through automation.

The interface of human body infrared sensor is nothing special, because it does not provide any parameters. It is mainly used to provide basis for automation.
