According to Reuters, Samsung Electronics announced on Tuesday that it would invest at least US $18.63 billion in South Korea to expand its production line. Samsung's expanded production line mainly includes display business and memory chip business. Samsung's investment in this expansion is closely related to its main QLED display business in the display market. Samsung's display department will invest at least 870 million dollars to expand the QLED production line.

The US $12.5 billion Samsung planned to invest in the NAND flash memory chip factory in Pingze City before 2021 is also included in the US $18.63 billion. That is to say, NAND flash business accounts for a large part of the US $18.63 billion this time.
