With the rapid growth of sales, OPPO has ranked the first in China's mobile phone market shipments in 2016 (data from IDC). How did the OPPO smartphone, which has never been known for its performance, win the first place in the booming domestic market? This time we want to find the answer from OPPO R11.

OPPO R11 uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, a 5.5 inch 1080P AMOLED screen, a front camera of 20 million pixels, a rear camera of 20 million pixels (IMX350 F/2.6)+16 million (IMX398 has no OIS F/1.7), a 4GB RAM+64GB ROM, a battery capacity of 3000mAh (supports VOOC flash charging), and a front fingerprint recognition using ColorOS 3.1 (Android 7.1.1).

OPPO R11 uses the usual box type outer packaging of OPPO R series. After opening the packaging, we can see several conventional sets besides the whole machine: data cable, quick charging head, clamping needle and instructions. OPPO R11 still adopts the anodized integrated metal body. Different from the previous one, the overall thickness of OPPO R11 this time is less than 7mm. OPPO R11 is the first smartphone on the market with Snapdragon 660 and launched on the market. From the name of Snapdragon 660, it is a mid-range SoC positioned after Snapdragon 835, which corresponds to the previous generation of Snapdragon 652. OPPO R9s Plus uses a small upgraded version of Snapdragon 653, which is better than Snapdragon 652. From the comparison of running points, the GPU Adreno 512 of Snapdragon 660 is higher than Adreno 510 of Snapdragon 653, which has significant advantages in graphics performance. In terms of CPU, it can be seen that Kryo 260, a Snapdragon 660 core modified based on A73, is not much better than the A72 core of Snapdragon 653 in terms of GeekBench4 single core performance, and this gap may even be caused by the main frequency difference (the highest single core of Snapdragon 660 is 2.2GHz, and the highest single core of Snapdragon 653 is 1.95GHz).

We all know that the difference between mobile phones and cameras is that their implementation principle mainly depends on "algorithms" rather than optical devices. It is impossible to reach the level of SLR, but the gap between the two can be narrowed. These mobile phone virtualization samples may not be worth mentioning for some more professional photographers, but for many "ordinary" It means different experience for users.
We will not compare mobile phone virtualization with SLR, which is unreasonable. But if we rank domestic mobile phones in terms of dual camera virtualization, OPPO R11 is undoubtedly the first tier.

OPPO R11 adopts the rear dual camera scheme, with the rear 16 million (main short focus IMX398 without OIS F/1.7)+20 million (sub long focus IMX350 F/2.6). In the actual measurement process, except for very dark weak light scenes, we can basically trigger 20 million telephoto lenses when we turn on the double lossless zoom. Due to sufficient daylight, the telephoto lens of all smart phones on the market that provide twice the lossless zoom can bring much better resolution than the main camera, while at night it is another case. Therefore, we directly selected some night view samples to see the effect of OPPO R11. It is found that even in the night scene, the telephoto lens can still provide obvious analytical advantages, and the white balance will not be much different after the lens switch. It has been proved that this is not a decorative telephoto lens, and there is still room to play even in the night.
Endurance&fast charging
In terms of endurance, it is still our 3-hour medium strength test. Both OPPO R11 and OPPO R9s use 3000mAh batteries. From the results, although the capacity is the same, the endurance performance of R11 is significantly better than that of R9s. The difference between the two is as high as 13% in the whole endurance test, and even compared with the OPPO R9s Plus with 4000mAh, the difference between the two is only 2%. It can be said that the endurance of OPPO R11 is relatively strong.
In terms of charging, OPPO still uses the VOOC flash charge of "charging for 5 minutes, talking for 2 hours". The specification of the power adapter is 5V/4A. We charge when R11 has 30% of the remaining electricity, and the measured power is 16.7W, which belongs to the normal level of VOOC flash charge.

OPPO still focuses on taking photos this time. Portrait mode and 2x lossless zoom add more use scenarios for users, and solve user pain points in specific situations through functional extension of photography.
