After all, M-route M1 is positioned at the 100 megabyte non intelligent route, and advanced setting is also a common option for conventional routes. performance testing

Strong wireless signal and wide coverage have always been the rigid requirements of wireless routing users. The measured environment of signal strength is the author's three bedroom, with an area of about 120 square meters. The red WiFi mark is the M1 placement point, and the test points are A, B, C, D in the bedroom; The selected comparison route is a full gigabit AC1200 route. This route has been compared with other routes before, and the wireless signal strength is good. Let's see the measured results:

To my surprise, M-route M1 beat the comparison route in signal strength at the four test points, especially at point D, which is farthest from the route and most blocked, the M-route signal strength was 10 dBm higher than the comparison route.

Because the screenshot of the test software is too small, in order to more intuitively compare the wireless signal strength performance of the two routes, I will draw the test data into a curve diagram, as shown above: the blue curve is the friction route, and the red curve is the comparison route. The author also used the test software to test the wireless signal stability of M-route M1 at the above four test points, and the test duration was 10 minutes. It can be seen from the figure that the monitoring curves of the other three test points are very smooth, except for the D point, where the signal is relatively weak, and there are several obvious fluctuations in the monitoring curve, which indicates that the wireless stability and anti-interference performance of Moro Route M1 are really good. As for the test of transmission rate, to be honest, in the face of the current AC gigabit router market, the 100M specification of M-route M1 is really far behind. In addition to the growing popularity of 100M optical fiber, the full gigabit routing can be qualified for access level routing. The different positioning fundamentally limits the consumers of M-route M1. Based on this, I decided to omit the test of rate transmission.

Value and non value

From the perspective of hardware configuration and technical parameters, M-route M1 is positioned on the ladder of entry-level wireless routing. Although the 4T4R and 256QAM modulation technologies it carries are very rare in peer routing, they are of little practical significance. Because the mainstream configuration of most wireless devices on the market is still 2T2R, some mobile phones, tablets and even just 1T1R, the advantages of 4T4R can not be reflected and applied at all.
