This time, the author experienced Moto Mobile Routing M1, a router from Motorola. Although it only supports 2.4G frequency band, it performs well in wall penetration capability and stability. The signal is much better than many routers at the same price. Even in the most corner of the house, you can still receive stable signals, which is quite good.

Moto Mobile Route M1 can be managed through PC browser, mobile browser and APP. Of course, the simplest is APP management. First, open the APP to register an account. Although the author has an account in the Moto community, it has nothing to do with Moto Routing M1. In fact, these can be related. After registration, the mobile phone is directly connected to the wifi of Moto Mobile Route M1, usually MOWIFI_XXXX. After the connection, the user will be allowed to select the Internet access mode, set the wifi password, and set the administrator password. Because the author has put a route in the multimedia box at home, and then the living room and bedroom are divided into one line, it can only be regarded as a secondary route. Naturally, the Internet access method of automatically obtaining IP addresses is adopted, and there is no need to set it. Just set the wifi password, and then the management password is OK. After saving it, the router is restarted, and then connected to the Internet.

When you enter the APP again, you can see that the middle of the icons of the router and the internet above is checked, which means that you can access the internet. If you cross, it means that the network is not connected, and the network cable may not be connected or set up properly. At present, the author is only applicable to mobile phone connection, so you can see my device in the online device. My mobile phone is Moto Z, so it's also right to display Lenovo's icon. There are also many functions in the settings. If you change the Internet access mode, you need to change the network settings. If you want to change the wifi name and password, you need to change them in the wireless settings, and you can also turn off wifi. What surprised the author was that there was a visitor network, which was closed by default and needed to be opened again, but the author did not need it at present.

Intelligent flow control is mainly a QoS function, but the function setting is relatively simple, which saves some people who are not familiar with it from being confused, and provides some intuitive preset options. This is very good. QoS intelligent allocation is adjusted according to the broadband status of the external network. The APP provides automatic testing and manual modification schemes. The author has tested it with automatic testing, and the results are still inaccurate. Of course, as a secondary router, it will be affected more or less. In addition, some of the devices in my home are connected to the Internet. Therefore, the author needs to manually correct.

Through the wifi signal analyzer, the author found that in the most corner of the home, the Moto Mo route M1 signal is very good, and the other blue one is the network device R7800 in the same location. This performance of Moto Mo Route M1 is really unexpected. A good signal means that the download speed is the key. Whether it is software games or online videos, it is actually related to the download speed. The author downloaded a video randomly with Xunlei, and it was completed in a few seconds. The fastest speed was 5.1MB/S, which was quite good.

Watching online video is also an important function of my mobile phone, so I also experienced it. The overall playback is smooth, and the timeline switching is not stuck. I am satisfied.

Although many people will be disgusted because Moto Mo route M1 does not have 5G wifi, after all, 5G wifi is still common now, but the weakness of 5G wifi is relatively obvious, that is, it is weak through the wall. To be honest, because 5G and 2.4G are the same password in my home, the connection is not fixed. Sometimes 5G and sometimes 2.4G are used as a whole, but there is no difference. However, the wall penetration ability of 2.4G is much better than that of 5G. In the author's bedroom, 2.4G is at least 10% better than 5G, and even worse than 5G. Moreover, the overall signal performance of Moto Mo router M1 is much better than many routers that the author has used before, which is the most satisfactory. However, there are relatively few peripheral functions, such as wireless relay, which is a very practical function, and some more detailed designs have not been found. These authors hope to enrich and improve them in the future. It can even launch simple mode and advanced mode for users with different needs.
