1、 Preface

2、 Packaging and appearance

The parameters of the charger are printed on the back, the model is CM599B, and the input voltage supports 9V-30V. Wide voltage input supports both the 12V cigarette lighter of ordinary household cars and the 24V high-voltage cigarette lighter of diesel cars. 3、 Onboard installation and use

Just plug the charger into the cigarette lighter connector on the vehicle.

When the cigarette lighter is powered, there will be a white power indicator in the USB interface. The indicator light is hidden and cannot be seen at ordinary times.

Because my car has a lot of electronic equipment, I have a tachograph, a double heated seat cushion, a single cigarette lighter port and insufficient fuel.

So I have been using an extended cigarette lighter with three ports. Compared with the old charger I transformed for the dash cam, Netease Cloud Music Charger is so compact and simple.

4、 Speaking with data, whether charging is fast or not

If you want to evaluate the charging speed of a charger, it is not enough to use a mobile phone to calculate the time from 0% to 100% of the battery power. Because the capacity of the battery, the resistance of the charging cable, and the maximum limiting current of the mobile phone power chip are different. Therefore, in order to evaluate the charging effect of this Netease Cloud Music Car Charger more professionally and rigorously, the following devices are used.

1. GPD win handheld mini win10 computer, charging current up to 1.9A.

2. Meilan note2, the maximum charging current is 1.4A.

3. The torch is a 5-bit OLED displaying USB power meter

First, calculate from Meilan note2. Single charging for Meilan note2, voltage 5.12V, maximum current 1.44A.

Separately charge GPD win with voltage of 5.05V and current of 1.92A.

It can be seen that charging a device alone can easily achieve the maximum MAX current input of the device.

When two devices want to be plugged in together for testing, a problem occurs.

My U-meter is too thick, so it is plugged into the charger, blocking the other interface, which makes it impossible to plug in another USB charging cable. No suitable USB extension cable on hand. Why not connect the USB extension cable in series for measurement? Because the ordinary USB extension cable is very long and is made for data transmission rather than charging. The resistance is very high, and the voltage on the cable drops a lot, leading to inaccurate measurement.

So if you want to measure the current, you can only measure it with the ammeter provided by Meilan note2.

Insert the two USB charging cables into GPD win and Meilan note2 respectively, and then call the power management option in MTK engineering mode provided by Meilan note2. It can be seen that the charging current is stable at about 1200mA.

What should be noted here is that the current measured by MTK's engineering mode is 200-300mA less than that measured by USB meter. If converted into U meter current, it is 1.4A. Because the current measured by the U meter is the overall input current of the mobile phone, that is, the current output by the charger, while the current measured by the MTK engineering mode is the charging current of the battery. The overall input current will certainly be greater than the battery charging current, because CPU, screen, network standby and various sensors will also consume part of the current.

While the mobile phone can be charged at 1.4A, the GPD will also be charged at 1.9A. It can be seen that when two devices are charged together, they can still be charged at the maximum current, and the NetEase Cloud Music Charger does not generate heat.

5、 Summary

After a round of evaluation, it can be said that NetEase Cloud Music Car Charger is a very practical car charger. It is beautiful in appearance and exquisite in workmanship. There is no false mark in the charging parameter specifications. It supports dual 2.4A current output of up to 4.2A. It does not generate heat when charged at full load. It has a wide voltage of 9-30V input and eats gasoline and diesel cars. It allows us to experience driving pleasure and enjoy the beautiful scenery while continuing to charge digital devices such as mobile phones and tablets during the journey.
