Dajiang launched two flagship UAVs in the United States in the early morning of the 16th US time, the new "Wu" Inspire 2 and the Smart Phantom 4 Pro, with prices starting from 19999 yuan (excluding PTZ and camera) and 9999 yuan respectively.
Inspire 2 adopts magnesium aluminum alloy deformable body, and the maintenance arm uses carbon fiber. The new generation of products has stronger mobility. It only takes 4 seconds to accelerate 0-80 km/h, and the fastest speed is 30 m/s.
Its power system has been comprehensively upgraded, with a maximum speed of 6m/s for ascent and 9m/s for descent. The IMU, barometer, electronic governor communication and satellite navigation modules of Inspire 2 adopt redundant design to ensure the safe operation of the system. The connection distance between the master and slave remote controllers is as far as 100 meters.
Inspire 2 also adds the intelligent real-time automatic avoidance function used by Dajiang from Genie 4, as well as the second generation intelligent following function that supports active tracking. Its set-top also has an infrared sensing system, an ultrasonic sensing system, and a down looking binocular vision system to support precise hovering without GPS. The maximum flight time can reach 27 minutes.
Dajiang also released two new Zenmuse X4S and X5S PTZ cameras suitable for Inspire 2. Fat and thin are controlled by the front FPV camera equipped on the body, while the PTZ hand operates the PTZ camera separately.
Genie 4 Pro
In addition to the update of Inspire, the Genie series of the previous generation product, which has only been launched for 8 months, has also been updated. The new Phantom 4 Pro is positioned as the most intelligent consumer aerial camera UAV at present. Compared with the previous generation products, the performance is slightly improved. The endurance is improved from 28 minutes to 30 minutes. When the obstacle sensing system is turned on, the flight speed is increased to 14 meters/second.
In addition to the improvement of hardware, the improvement of Dajiang's software level is more noteworthy. For example, "track flight" can preset flight routes; The "Smart Follow" mode also adds three modes: surround, parallel and lock. Pointing flight has two new modes: backward and free. In free mode, the UAV automatically rotates the airframe to obtain the best shooting angle.
The new six eye navigation system of Genie 4 Pro is composed of three pairs of binocular vision systems, which can sense obstacles in front, behind and below, and build 3D maps. The infrared perception system is also added on both sides of the body. The obstacle avoidance function is further enhanced compared with the previous generation of products that have led the experience, and the perception distance is increased to 30 meters.
