The Federal Aviation Administration officially prohibits the use of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 on aircraft

A week ago, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) strongly advised passengers not to use the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 on the plane, and it is better not to charge it when it is turned off. Now the Federal Aviation Administration has issued a statement again, saying that passengers are officially prohibited from using Galaxy Note 7 on the plane.

The Federal Aviation Administration said in the statement:

Passengers are not allowed to open or charge their mobile phones after boarding with this mobile phone. Passengers must ensure that their mobile phones will not be activated accidentally. They must turn off the alarm clock and other functions that may make their mobile phones start, and cannot put the mobile phones into checked baggage.

It is known that the US Consumer Safety Commission has announced that 92 cases of fire or explosion caused by overheated Galaxy Note 7 batteries have occurred in the US, 55 of which have caused property damage. So far, only 130000 of the 1 million Note 7 sold in the United States have been returned for replacement.
