Blackberry takes the lead in pushing security patches to fix QuadRouter vulnerabilities

A few days ago, Check Point security company exposed QuadRouter vulnerabilities in Qualcomm processors Hackers can trick users into installing malicious applications without requesting any special permissions. After installing applications, hackers can obtain root permissions and then fully control the affected Android devices, including their data and hardware, such as cameras and microphones. Due to the huge shipment of Qualcomm processors, 900 million Android devices worldwide were affected. Blackberry, a well-known security manufacturer, has now started to push security patches for its Android machines Priv and DTEK50 to fix the QuadRouter vulnerability, thus becoming the first manufacturer to fix the vulnerability. It has to say that Blackberry's goal is indeed to be the "most secure Android smartphone".
