Samsung announced on Monday that it will hold an event called Galaxy Unpacked 2016 in Barcelona, Spain, on February 21, and released a video preview focusing on virtual reality. In addition to Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, Samsung is likely to introduce a new VR camera called Gear 360.
Gear 360 uses two 180 degree fisheye lenses to shoot panoramic video with a resolution of 3840 × 1920. It is said that the on-board battery and storage device of the Gear 360 can run independently, but users must use a specific Samsung smartphone to view these videos.
