While the technology circle is still worried about the accuracy of fingerprint identification technology, Samsung is developing another security technology - vein identification.
Samsung said in its latest patent application that its latest wearable device will first identify the user's vein image through the sensor before the user activates it. Thereafter, whenever the user needs to unlock/confirm their identity, the sensor will compare and confirm through the vein image in the history. In short, it used to identify fingerprints, but now it is to identify veins.
Samsung has only shown in its patent that this technology will be used in wearable devices. Imagine that in the future, we will use wearable devices to make mobile payments. It only needs to scan the vein to confirm the transaction. This is a cool thing.
