China Southern Airlines announced on the 19th that in order to ensure flight safety, passengers will be banned from carrying or consigning electric balance cars powered by lithium batteries.
Not long ago, the British Trade Standards Agency warned people not to buy such products because of the high security risks. A spokesman for the British National Trade Standards Agency said that at present, officials have seized more than 38000 electric balance cars, of which more than 80% were identified as having safety risks.
In response to the warning from the trade standards body, some large retailers, including Amazon, have begun to take off the shelves of potential electric balance cars and sent risk notification emails to consumers who have purchased such products.
At present, the scope of use of electric balance vehicles is expanding, and there are more and more types. Since the lithium battery energy of electric balance vehicles is large, and the energy signs of most equipment lithium batteries do not comply with the regulations, the international feedback has been that such balance vehicles have successively caught fire and exploded due to poor quality lithium batteries.
