With the popularity of electric vehicles, battery manufacturing costs, as well as recycling problems have become a problem for many power battery enterprises. Now the world's first truly environmentally friendly lithium battery "ebatte" is coming, which can effectively reduce the production cost of lithium batteries, and at the same time, it has significantly improved its cycle life, safety and other aspects compared with traditional lithium batteries.

At present, GRST has developed WATMAR3, a technology that makes lithium batteries by water-based process and recycles environmentally friendly batteries. Using this patented technology, GRST has produced the world's first truly green and environmentally friendly lithium battery "ebatte".

Where is green environmental protection?

According to the official introduction of GRST, the ebatte battery manufactured by WATMAR3 technology is the safest lithium battery on the market at present. Due to the particularity of the structural design, the service life of WATMAR3 will be 30% longer than that of batteries made of the same battery material in the market today, and it will also have higher power performance and faster charging speed in those that lead to longer life!

In addition, WATMAR3 is also very efficient and environmentally friendly in recycling technology.

According to GRST data, up to 99% of the metal materials and up to 95% of the electrode materials of lithium batteries that can be used for re production can be effectively recovered through WATMAR3's green recycling method.

It is worth noting that the battery cathode materials recycled still have energy efficiency as high as 99%.

How to achieve low cost and low energy consumption?

How to effectively reduce costs should be the most important concern of major battery manufacturers. The biggest highlight of GRST water-based battery manufacturing technology is to bring green environmental protection, while also effectively reducing the production cost of battery plants.

According to the official introduction of GRST, the WATMAR3 technology developed by GRST can be directly applied to the traditional lithium battery production line by adjusting the process materials and parameters, effectively reducing the manufacturer's cost to the minimum.

Even if the manufacturer chooses to replace all equipment from scratch, WATMAR3 technology can save up to 30% of the equipment cost compared with the manufacturing and production of traditional lithium batteries, and because of the advantages of the process, it can also reduce the energy consumption by up to 50%, and the overall cost of the cell can be reduced by about 8%!

How safe is the battery? What's the difference with the batteries on the market?

According to GRST data, at present, ebatte batteries can pass the acupuncture test and 10V overcharge test for specific needs, with excellent safety. After acupuncture, they will not inflate or even ignite like traditional batteries, and will not overheat or ignite when overcharged up to 10V.

According to Wang Ranshi, technical director of GRST, the cycle life of ebatte battery is expected to exceed 5000 cycles in products used for energy storage system (ESS), and the capacity retention rate exceeds 80%; For models used in consumer electronics and mobile devices, it is 1000-1500 cycles.

It is reported that GRST has applied for 99 patents around WATMAR3, a water-based manufacturing and recycling battery technology, covering process technology, new materials, safety design and application design, among which 7 have been authorized and 2 are being authorized. The ebatte battery has begun to produce and supply in small quantities, and the mining products with high safety requirements have been certified in South Africa and Europe, and the supply test has begun.

In terms of products, the batteries made with WATMAR3 technology are mainly ternary and lithium manganate systems, and some lithium iron phosphate batteries for specific applications.
