Yesterday, the official microblog of MediaTek officially released three middle and low-end SoC models, MT6737 MT6738、MT6750。 The three SoCs launched by MediaTek this time all support 4G+. Previously, MediaTek had only one MT6797 SoC supporting 4G+, and the lowest MT6737 supported three cards and three waiting.
Although the official microblog of MediaTek did not reveal more information about these three SoCs, we still found their information on some magic websites. The MT6738/MT6750 only supports 720P resolution screens. Although the MT6750 is an 8-core A53, it is 1.5GHz/1.0GHz for large and small cores (similar to Snapdragon 615). The GPU is also a stronger MT6750T, which supports 1080P resolution, also 1.5GHz/1.0GHz for large and small cores, and Mali-T860MP2 for GPU.
In fact, the Mali-T860 is the vest of the Mali-T760, and there is no difference between the two. However, the Mali-T860MP2 of the MT6750 is only 350MHz, while the Mali-T760MP2 of the MT6752 is 700MHz, and the MT6752 is 8 * A53 @ 1.5GHz, which means that the MT6752 completely suppresses the MT6750/MT6750T in performance, let alone the MT6795 that MediaTek claims to be high-end.
The reality is that Xiaomi has reduced the price of the MT6795 model to 799 yuan (the Hongmi Note 2 with the MT6795), so the above new SoCs must be used between 300 yuan and 600 yuan in the future.
