OmniVision recently released a new sensor OV16860, which has 16 million pixels, CMOS: 1/2.39, the area of a single pixel is 1.305um * 1.305um, which supports RAW photo output. However, none of the above is important, but it can support 4K 60fps UHD video recording.

According to the current video quality of smart phones, there are not many mobile phones in the market that can support 4K HD recording. Among the well-known smart phones, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and iPhone 6s Plus only achieve 4K 30fps video recording. At present, no mobile phone can support 4K 60fps recording, The 4K 60fps UHD recording is not only limited by the camera sensor, but also needs strong image processor support. At present, high-end SoCs such as Snapdragon 810, Snapdragon 820, Samsung Exynos 7420, and 8890 all support 4K recording.
