Five years have passed since the release of the last product A7S2 of Sony's full frame micro single A7S series. On the evening of July 28, Sony finally released its iterative product A7S3, which focuses on high sensitivity, high dynamic range and video recording functions.

The appearance design of the A7S3 continues the style of Sony's full frame micro single family. It is equipped with a 0.64-inch OLED electronic viewfinder and a rollover 3-inch LCD touch screen, which is also the first Sony micro single with a rollover screen.

The A7S3 is equipped with a 12.1 million pixel full frame back lit CMOS sensor. Due to the larger area of a unit pixel, it has more excellent high sensitivity. The dark light auto focus can be as low as - 6EV, with a 15+level dynamic range. The standard ISO range is 80-102400, which can be extended to ISO 40-409600 (photos) and 80-409600 (videos).

The A7S3 has increased its focus to 759. It supports eye control focusing when taking photos and videos. It has a built-in BIONZ XR image processor (processing performance increased by 8 times), supports five axis body anti shake, and has a continuous shooting speed of 10 pictures per second.

Video recording is the main function of A7S3. The machine supports video recording of up to 4K 120fps, 1080P video supports a frame rate of up to 240fps, color supports 10-bit 4:2:2 color depth, and external recording of up to 4K 60fps, 16bit RAW format video.

Sony also emphasized the heat dissipation capability of the A7S3 this time. It is equipped with a passive heat dissipation system, which can ensure that the 4K 120fps video will not overheat for 30 minutes, and the 4K 60fps video will last for 1 hour.

The A7S3 uses NP-FZ100 batteries, with a photo duration of 600 and a video recording duration of 95 minutes. It supports USB-C fast charging; Dual card slots are built in the body, compatible with CFexpress Type A card or UHS-II SDXC card.

The A7S3 is priced at 23999 yuan and will be launched in September this year.
