According to South Korean media reports, Samsung said that it has set up a product innovation team, which mainly conducts research on high-tech innovation business projects. The core mission of Samsung's product innovation team is to research and develop projects such as virtual reality, robots, UAVs and 3D printing, in order to explore how technology can better assist in daily life.
The Samsung product innovation team will be led by Shin Jong kyun, the head of Samsung Mobile, and the team will operate independently without any direct contact with Samsung in structure or department.
