On January 6, 2015, ASUS released ZenFone2, the world's first smartphone equipped with 4GB RAM (and 2GB RAM version) at CES 2015. This new phone uses a 5.5 inch 1080p screen, Intel Z3580 quad core processor, 13 million pixel camera, runs Android 5.0 operating system, and has a built-in 3000 mAh battery.

According to the different hardware configurations, ASUS ZenFone 2 can be divided into two types: ordinary version and enhanced version. The normal version uses a 1.8GHz Z3560 processor, 2G RAM and 16G ROM, while the enhanced version uses a 2.3GHz Z3580 processor, 4G RAM and 64G ROM.
