At CES 2015, Intel launched a dedicated chipset Curie for wearable devices. Curie is designed for wearable devices, focusing on low power consumption and small size, only the size of buttons. In this size, Curie includes a Quark SoC, Bluetooth, accelerometer, gyroscope and 384KB of RAM.
Intel said that although Curie had not been approved by the FCC for listing, it could be launched in the second half of 2015 if everything went well., And it will provide Intel IQ Software Kit to help manufacturers develop.
