The "modular mobile phone" proposed by Project Ara encourages many people to explore similar products. Now a Finnish company called "Circular Devices" is also developing a modular smart phone Puzzlephone.
Puzzlephone divides the mobile phone into three components: the main electronic part and The Brain of the camera, The Heart including batteries and other electronic components, and The Spine including screens, speakers and other basic components.
Circular Devices was founded in September this year, with its headquarters in Espoo, the hometown of Nokia. Circular Devices is working on a Puzzle phone prototype. Puzzle phone is planned to be released in the second half of 2015, with the price set at a mid-range price, and the operating system is a branch version of Google's Android operating system.
