Amazon has updated its Fire tablet product series, of which the new 8.9-inch HDX will be equipped with Snapdragon 805 SoC and 2GB RAM, and will provide customers with 16, 32, and 64GB versions to choose from.
The screen resolution of the new HDX has reached 2560 × 1600, and the pixel density is 339ppi. Amazon announced that the screen of the new HDX will have a 100% sRGB color gamut and a maximum brightness of more than 400 nits. The 16GB version (8.8GB of user available memory) will be sold at 379 dollars, and the price of 64G LTE for advertising will reach 594 dollars. In addition, protective covers and keyboards are sold together.
