Seidon 120V is the entry-level water cooling launched by Cooler Master. Compared with DIY water cooling, integrated water cooling is more suitable for junior white people like me, and for the first time, of course, it is from the beginning. When the machine is installed, the Seidon 120V is also used to test the charm of water cooling.
Seidon 120 actually has several models, namely 120V, 120M and 120XL, of which 120V is the cheapest, while the others are fans, cold exhaust and water-cooled head. Packaging design is quite industrialized, basically just show it.
On the back is the introduction of various spare parts, selling points and features.
The accessories are quite complete, supporting various AMD and Intel standards, and silicone grease is included.
The fan is the Cooler Master's own 12cm fan, whose speed ranges from 600 to 2400RPM, and supports PWM speed regulation. Raffles bearings are used dispersedly, and the noise is between 19~40dBA.
The size of the cold exhaust has been indicated on the Seidon 120V model. I have no problems with the compatibility of the 27mm thick installation. The fins of the cold exhaust are arranged in a folded shape to increase the heat dissipation area. The quality of the cold exhaust is very good.
FEP polymer materials are used for water cooling pipes to reduce evaporation rate and maintain a long service life. The serpentine tube is designed to be free from depression when bending. Of course, the stronger water-cooling pipe is still a little afraid when bending, and it always feels that it will exert too much force.
Seidon 120V has been filled with water cooling liquid when it leaves the factory, so it is unnecessary to add water cooling liquid in the later stage, and it is also unnecessary to conduct various test leaks. This is my favorite place for integrated water cooling. Although DIY is really cool, I am dizzy to see various tutorials and debugging.
In terms of water cooling head, the bottom surface of Seidon 120V water cooling head is treated with pure copper wire drawing process to maintain full contact with CPU. Ceramic bearings are used internally to ensure 70000 hours of trouble free service life. The internal design of 0.2mm micro channel makes the heat exchange faster and more effective.
The water-cooled head has a built-in lighting effect, which lights up automatically when installing. It's also cool.
During the actual installation, the water discharge of 120 has no problem in compatibility. Basically, it can be used as long as it is not a small steel gun. Of course, the integrated water cooling must be mentioned, which is much easier to install. Pay attention to the installation sequence. Install the base fastener on the motherboard first, and then install the motherboard. Otherwise, it will be overturned once more.
In practice, Seidon 120V is used to suppress the i7-4790K. The default 4GHz running is basically at 32 ° C, and the noise is negligible. How about overclocking and full load? I won't tell you.
