Google I/O In the near future, although Android 5.0 may have been replaced by 4.3, that cannot stop geeks from expecting the Next.
As usual this year, we saw many flagship models of Oxfam being released by Sony, HTC, Samsung and LG, but as an Android geek or expert, we are waiting for the Nexus device of Google 2013. Every time the Nexus device is released, it brings many exciting points, such as a high-end device with a reasonable price, and it's time to upgrade Android again! New Nexus devices will also receive long-term software update support. But these are not important. The important thing is that Google has released a new Nexus device, which is enough!
There is no customized skin, no bloated software, only pure Android.
There is no "magic" software customized by OEMs, which will not eat up a lot of users' built-in storage space, and there is no UI customization or "enhancement", such as helping users cut off the best Android functions such as Google Now. Therefore, a considerable number of users prefer to use third-party ROMs, which is why users need Nexus devices.
Nexus mobile phones and tablets are sold directly through the Google Play store and are updated by Google engineers. However, other manufacturers are always responsible for the hardware. The first Nexus device was manufactured by HTC, and then Samsung produced the Nexus S, Galaxy Nexus and the first 10 inch Nexus tablet computer Nexus 10 for it. Asus got an opportunity to manufacture the Nexus 7 tablet, and finally LG produced the 2012 Nexus mobile phone Nexus 4.
In anticipation of the Nexus 5, the question arises. Everyone is concerned about "which manufacturer will manufacture the next generation Nexus mobile phone?" Although we are not sure, we can say who should manufacture it, and what can they provide if they get the opportunity?
LG:
LG provided some excellent equipment last year, such as Optimus 4X HD and Optimus G, and manufactured Nexus 4.
The specifications of Nexus are very similar to Optimus G. It is expected that Nexus 5 will be very close to LG Optimus G Pro or the leaked Optimus G2, with a 5-inch 1080P screen, Snapdragon 600 processor and 16/32G built-in storage. Of course, many users also want a removable battery and a MicroSD card slot. Well, this is just a dream.
LG needs to make more changes on Nexus 5, rather than using the scheme of Optimus G to make changes like Nexus 4. Optimus G can even directly use the ROM adapted to the Nexus 4 by AOSP.
Motorola:
For Motorola, if motorcycle gets this opportunity to manufacture Nexus 5. Motorola has been acquired by Google for a long time, and many users want Google to make a leap in hardware. Unfortunately, last year we didn't hear anything about Motorola and Nexus' "farts", only endless RAZR series.
Motorola's plan to build Google Xphone once became the most controversial topic. People crazy imagine that Google has finally developed a smartphone without any Nexus label. Will the iPhone be released? Will it be the next generation Nexus? If not, Motorola may still make the next generation Nexus.
If Motorola manufactures Nexus, it may be equipped with a huge capacity battery, perfect workmanship, 4.3-4.7 inch screen, and hardware parameters equivalent to the current flagship model. Of course, BLUR does not include it, and it will never upgrade the system as late as the old Motorola. A Motorola Nexus device is absolutely awesome!
HTC:
If there is a manufacturer that started as Nexus, it is definitely HTC, HTC produced the first Android phone, Google G1, and then the first Nexus device, the Nexus One, until one day, a mountain blocked HTC's way forward, and Samsung achieved the dominance among Android manufacturers. Even if there was a very good device interview, The manufacturer from Taiwan cannot stop its decline in the struggle of Samsung.
If HTC gets the chance to make Nexus again, it may be just the opportunity it needs to help it climb to the top again, HTC will bring a machine with good workmanship and the shadow of HTC One, equipped with a 4.7 inch 1080p screen, 32GB built-in storage, of course, there must be no MicroSD card slot, and the high-grade integrated body design obviously comes with the non removable battery. Can you imagine that an HTC One, loaded with native Android 4.3, a reliable software upgrade service, and a price lower than $200, sounds very impressive, right?
Sony:
Like Motorola, as a top Android manufacturer, it has never manufactured Nexus devices. Sony dropped a heavy bomb at the beginning of 2013, releasing Sony's new flagship, Xperia Z and Xperia ZL, and the Xperia Tablet Z tablet will also quickly enter the market. Unfortunately, Sony has not penetrated the market as well as Samsung and HTC.
If Sony gets the opportunity to manufacture Nexus for the first time, it will definitely be named "Sony Xperia Nexus". We can look forward to the 5-inch, 1080p screen, and other high-end flagship standard parameters, plus a powerful camera. The camera part is also the part of Nexus mobile phone that needs upgrading. By the way, Nexus is certainly better to prevent a water god horse, But it may be a little expensive.
A Nexus device with the most powerful camera is expected to make Nexus fans rapidly soar by an order of magnitude. After all, the camera has always been Nexus's weakness.
Samsung:
Samsung once again consolidated its dominant position in the Android camp in 2012. The sales of its flagship Galaxy series have been growing steadily. Samsung is also the only manufacturer in this list who does not need to manufacture Nexus devices.
Don't get me wrong. A Nexus device from Samsung doesn't include TouchWiz and bloated software packages. It's absolutely awesome! However, Samsung does not need to manufacture Nexus devices to promote sales, and considering Samsung's own sales, Nexus is likely to become a burden for Samsung itself. When all other manufacturers try to try new and different things, Samsung has its own way of survival. It is hard to imagine that a device that does not use plastic, does not have a Home key, and uses an integrated body comes from Samsung. Even in various calls, Samsung has never compromised.
Even so, I know many people still want a Samsung Nexus device! Well, if Samsung makes it, it should be a 5-inch 1080p SuperAMOLED screen, a Snapdragon 600 processor, or an Exynos 5 processor. It may restore some Galaxy Nexus designs, and of course, a plastic body.
All manufacturers on this list can manufacture a very powerful Nexus device. There are various leaking designs of Nexus 5 everywhere. Many signs show that LG is still the manufacturer of Nexus 5. If it is true, it will not be a bad choice. But this time, I prefer HTC or Motorola.
