On December 4, Meizu officially announced the price of MX2 in Hong Kong. The price of three different storage capacities is lower than that in mainland China. The price of 16GB is HK $2999, while the price of 32GB and 64GB versions is HK $3299 and HK $4099, which is significantly lower than the prices of 2999 yuan and 3999 yuan in mainland China.

Meizu MX2 adopts a resolution of 1280 * 800, a screen ratio of 16:10, an 8 megapixel back lit camera, supports 1080p/30FPS video recording, and can achieve continuous shooting of 9 pictures in 1.5 seconds. In addition, the MX2 is equipped with a 720P level front camera. Compared with the previous generation, the new product uses Meizu's fifth generation main chip MX5S, with four cores of 1.6GHz, and its speed is nearly 20% higher than that of the previous generation.
