Performance is the focus of this evaluation. For the time being, Galaxy Premier is the only mobile phone that uses OMAP4470. What is the performance of the legendary strongest dual core processor?
First, let's take a look at the SOC of OMAP4470. It is a dual core processor produced by the famous Texas Instruments, based on the Cortex-A9 architecture, with a frequency of 1.5GHz and a manufacturing process of 45nm. OMAP4470 is equipped with PowerVR SGX544@384MHz , the graphics processing capacity is about the same as that of the iPhone 4S SGX543MP2@200MHz At the same level. This GPU has also become a highlight of OMAP4470. While the resolution of the I9260 is 1280 * 720, does the SGX544 support 720P resolution in actual use?

However, in terms of image quality, the default image quality of the SGX544 is not high. It is probably at the same level as Qualcomm's Adreno320. Since the performance of the SGX544 can fully meet the requirements of 720P resolution in terms of low special effects, we further squeeze the performance of the GPU through some special methods. First of all, we will explain the Gameloft game's setting standards for image quality. Gameloft games judge the special effects that are enabled according to the phone's model information. Samsung's I9300, N7100 and other models will be automatically identified as the highest special effects. But do other mobile phones have nothing to do with full special effects? In fact, we can achieve our goal by modifying the model information in the mobile phone system. As a dual core mobile phone, the I9260 may give a feeling that it is not as good as the popular quad core mobile phone. However, from the perspective of actual use, the performance of the I9260 is not inferior to some quad core flagship phones, especially in terms of graphics performance, and even more powerful than some quad core processors. Of course, due to the lack of CPU cores, some multithreaded applications will be inferior to quad core mobile phones. In addition to SoC, the performance of the I9260 is at the same level as that of the Galaxy S3.
