A few days ago, many netizens reported that their new Galaxy S III would encounter a crash for no reason.
TurtleRecall, a British user, said that his Galaxy S III had never been refreshed and that his phone had not been installed with anything other than the three firmware officially released by Samsung. However, since last week, the phone would suddenly crash. What's more, when charging at night or locking the screen, the phone would still fail to start.
Although Samsung has not yet acknowledged the existence of this problem, some users said that when he sent his mobile phone to the Samsung maintenance center, many Samsung employees disclosed that many users have recently encountered this problem.
As for the cause of the problem, some users reported that it was a problem with the mobile phone motherboard. Fortunately, these Galaxy S IIIs that failed were basically new phones shipped for about 150-200 days. Therefore, Samsung has replaced new phones for these users. However, users tragically found that the new machine after replacement uses the same motherboard as before, which means that the problem is likely to recur in more than 100 days.
After about 10 days of waiting, Samsung officials finally responded to the above problem and acknowledged the existence of this problem.
Samsung said that the main reason for the "sudden crash" was a firmware program error (many users had previously speculated that it was caused by a batch of motherboard failures), which only affected a very limited number of Galaxy S III 16GB models.
At present, Samsung has started to deal with this problem and will soon release relevant fixes, but the specific release time has not been disclosed
